Release of the new liqueur, The ESSENCE of High Clandon.

This delicious new Eau de vie du Vin liqueur has been gently distilled from the second pressing of our 2014 Pinot and Chardonnay grapes and then infused with 19 botanicals of the Surrey Hills and a touch of our honey to produce this delectable aperitif (or digestif) with 28% alcohol. Vendange 2016 – the harvest at High Clandon

A magnificent crop of ripe grapes were picked on 19th October with the help of East Clandon villagers and friends and ably supplemented by a professional team of pickers. 2.5 tonnes of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay are now at the Vin Clair stage, fermenting the first stage of Cuvée…. And ready to taste after 5 years on the lees in the cellars in 2021!
