Singular, matured vintage-only Cuvées from the beautiful rolling downs of the Surrey Hills.

From a multi- gold -award winning vineyard

Our cuvées are elegant English quality sparkling wines created in the Classic Method (Méthode Champenoise). Our quintessence is crafted from the classic trio of champagne grapes creating singular, matured vintage-only cuvées… with long bottle maturation of at least five years.

High Clandon Estate Vineyard was founded in 2004 by Sibylla and Bruce Tindale.

Both have a zeal to create the quintessential English Quality Sparkling Wine and the belief that a small hand-manicured vineyard can produce an exquisite English cuvée. The terroir – that mystical marriage of soil, of locale, of climate and cultivation – producing the best grapes, ripened to perfection, combined with expert wine-making results in ‘the expression of perfection’ in their Cuvée.

Our multi-award winning Cuvées

Our Quintessence provides perfect pleasure; one that reflects its locale, one that reflects our belief that a great sparkling wine has body and fruit and individuality.

To achieve perfection, we aim to have Pinot-led Cuvées – meaning that it is made from a high proportion of our Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes which give body and fullness; in cultivation, allowing ‘the sun to kiss the grapes’ by removing all leaves around the fruiting zone; to further concentrate fruit flavours and ripeness in each and every bunch, we cull at least 25% of our bunches during the ripening period; and then harvest only at optimum ripeness.

Art at High Clandon

Artists of the Moment

Between our major Summer Art in the Vineyard events, we invite various artists to show selections of their work in the Glass Barn and Gardens.

So whenever you visit, experience creativity, there to delight you, to entice you and any works sold benefit artists and also Cherry Trees our chosen charity supporting children with disabilities.

Every summer, at the launch of our ‘newest’ five-year aged vintage, we host a wonderful Summer Exhibition – Art and Sculptures in the Vineyard – showcasing over 180 works of art in our wildflower meadows, the gardens, vineyard and Glass Barn. Sales of art benefits Cherry Trees charity and the notable artists too as we take no commission. Do join us.
